The AIRLITE series, a relatively new range of products by Crye Precision, was created to minimize the weight of gear worn by operators in the most effective way.
The majority of the weight of traditional webbing and personal ballistic protection systems is not just the plates, but also the webbing. Crye, combining the basic fabric and a modular fastening system into one ultra-minimalistic material, achieved up to a 30% reduction in the weight of equipment. Made of a non-standard composite material designed to be extremely light, strong and waterproof, AirLite is an original, often imitated solution for modern lightweight equipment.
The company offers its products as standard in its patented Multicam camouflage. However, as we have recently learned that the series also includes products in black, Ranger Green and Coyote.
