In mid-June we wrote about the upcoming release of the spring powered replica of the modern Russian SW-98 sniper rifle, made by Raptor. Currently, the replica can be ordered at OctagonAirsoft store for 420 USD. Additional accessories are also available: a bi-pod, a silencer and additional magazines.

In recent days the TWI company, which is cooperating with the Raptor, has published on its Facebook profile photos of the SW-98 rifle with a scope from the PSO family.

Does this mean something? We have no idea.

Another curiosity loosely related to the SW-98 is the appearance in the offer of the already mentioned OctagonAirsoft store, a wooden stock manufactured by Flintlock Workshop, which allows to make replicas of the VSR-10 standard to visually resemble the SW-98. Price: 215 USD.

This is the second product of this type on the market. Previously Novritsch introduced the Taring Carving stock for its SSG24.

We like the product dedicated to the VSR a bit more.
