Instinct™ – Tactical Edition is a durable GPS watch designed for use in the harshest conditions.
The watch is characterized by:
- compliance with the American military 810G standard regarding temperature, shock and water resistance (up to 100 meters)
- a multitude of tactical functions which include: hidden mode, jumpmaster function (for parachuting), position mapping function, two GPS coordinate data formats and pre-loaded tactical activities
- a built-in 3-axis compass and barometric altimeter, as well as support for many global satellite navigation systems (GPS, GLONASS and Galileo) allow tracking one's position in situations that are too demanding for a signal coming only from GPS
- the ability to monitor the heart rate, activity and effort as well as training with preloaded activity profiles
- the watch can be paired with a phone and the automatic sharing and uploading of data to the Garmin Connect ™ online sports community
- built-in TracBack® function that allows you to return along the same route to the starting point; the ability to use the Garmin Explore ™ website and travel planning application
- battery life: up to 14 days in watch mode, up to 16 hours in GPS mode and up to 40 hours in the UltraTrac ™ battery saver mode (depending on settings)
The price for the Instict Tactical version is 349.99 Euro, for the "normal" version you have to pay 299.99 Euro.
