Nearly a year after delivering the first units of the military version of the C16 FB-M1 Grot rifle, the civilian version has been released - the S16-M1 Grot. This weapon differs from the military version with several elements. The trigger mechanism and the bolt carrier are of course different, the barrel lacks the bayonet mount, and the civilian muzzle break is mounted on the thread and not using pins. The front grip is also different. Despite the differences, the carbine has retained its most important advantage - modular design and the ability to be used by both right and left-handed shooters.
The first 97 copies have additional markings related to the 100th anniversary of Polish independence (serial numbers from the first hundred without three units sold earlier). The price of the collector's edition is 12000 PLN. The remaining copies - another 200 units - were valued at 8700 PLN.
The factory promises to expand the offer with additional accessories. For example, a longer front grip and an adapter allowing the use of AR-15 butt stocks will become available soon. In addition, a version of 7.62 x 39 mm round will appear next year.
The carbines are available from the official distributor of the Arms Factory "Łucznik" - Radom, the company called "COLT" Obrót Bronią i Amunicją Bogumiła Porowska (www.coltkrotoszyn.pl).
