Perun Airsoft, a Polish manufacturer of parts and control systems for airsoft replicas, is not resting on its laurels and has introduced an updated control system for replicas with a V3 gearbox. Perun V3 Integrated is the successor to the classic Perun Hybrid V3, which was introduced in 2021. Over the past few years, we have received a number of unique control systems designed for more niche replicas, such as the AUG, P90, M14 and G28, as well as innovations such as clickers simulating the realistic operation of a trigger in electric replicas.
This time, both of the aforementioned solutions have been combined into a single unit, while the design has also been updated based on user experience.
The main change is the integration of the control system with the Clicker mechanism, hence the name Integrated. However, this is not simply a combination of already available products, but rather a design that allows users to configure the system to their individual preferences. What does this mean? The Clicker itself now features additional interchangeable modules that allow the magnets responsible for providing resistance during trigger operation to be replaced or completely removed. The ability to adjust the trigger travel using screws has also been retained.
The electronic part of the system retains the same operating principle, still relying on magnets and Hall-effect sensors to detect the position of the trigger. One of the main changes is the method used to detect the position of the fire selector plate. In the previous Hybrid version, the selector had to be positioned within a fairly narrow range, whereas the new Integrated version does not have such strict limits requiring the selector to be positioned with perfect repeatability. This is particularly important in some replicas where precise and repeatable selector positioning can be difficult. The Perun Airsoft systems continue to be compatible with both conventional and brushless motors.
The new Perun V3 Integrated system is already available for purchase and will replace the V3 Hybrid version.
