Ares has just expanded is offer with two replicas of the legendary American Thompson submachine gun.
The chronologically later, but probably more useful to enthusiasts and reenactors M1A1 version has fixed sights, charging handle on the right side of the receiver, a smooth barrel, no compensator and a copy of a box magazine that held 30 rounds.
The second replica is one of the earlier versions, the 1928A1 model. It has adjustable rear sight aperture, ribbed barrel with a compensator, charging handle at the top of the receiver and a copy of the drum magazine for that held 50 rounds. Note that the differing buttstocks were also reproduced.
Both are made from metal and wood. Wooden parts are made in Italy of, probably, walnut wood. Both replicas are equipped with an electric (mechanical) blowback.
