Recently Taiwangun stared offering the Cyma Platinum series of replicas. These are ARs distinguished by the quality of workmanship and configuration. They are factory fitted with an electronic control system with a microswitch, a faster, 13:1 gear ration and a high speed type motor. As a result, the replicas have a rate of fire of about 25 BBs per second (using a 11.1V LiPo) straight from the box and a muzzle velocity of 360 fps.
Currently, the Platinum series consists of four models that differ with the length of the fronts and barrels. The basic model is the CM.097 replica with a 400 mm inner barrel:

What stands out is a the very careful workmanship and fitting of internal components.
The internal mechanism is a modified V2 gearbox, whose parts were selected for increased rate of fire and durability.
The aforementioned gearbox modification consists in the way of attaching the unique spring guide, visible above. It is screwed directly into the lower receiver of the replica and is not attached to the gearbox itself.
We hope to find out how durable this solution is during out upcoming tests.
The price of replicas from the CM.097x line is currently around 900 PLN.
