New, licensed Falkor Defense replicas have appeared at Taiwangun. We are talking about the Blitz 2.0 carbines manufactured by the EMG/APS duo under a license granted by the American manufacturer of firearms.
The new Blitz-e differs from the first generation with a few details. The muzzle breaks and butt stocks are different, but the most important thing is the use of the SDU (Super Dynamic Unit) electronic control system in the new replicas.
The new Falkors are powered by the well-known APS gearbox called the eSilver Edge - the same on which the latest versions of the APS Phantom (Phantom Extremis Mk7, Mk8 and Mk9) also use.
The detailed specification are as follows:
- a polished modified V2 gearbox frame, protected against corrosion;
- a quick spring change system does not requiring to take out the gearbox out of the carbine;
- steel (sintered) gears mounted on 8 mm ball bearings with a delayer mounted on the sector gear;
- a chromed cylinder;
- a spring guide and a piston head with bearings;
- a piston with full steel teeth;
- an aluminum nozzle with a O-ring;
- the already mentioned SDU module with a microswitch;
- a vertical sports trigger (speed trigger).
The Falkor Blitz have, as in the original, the modern AMBI AR15 MATCHED upper and lower receiver made using CNC machines, with manipulators located on both sides. The trigger guard is fixed, enlarged and is an integral part of the lower receiver.
The Blitz 2.0 replicas are available with a standard RS3 stock
or the CRS stock
The SR3 can house a 11.1V 1500 mAh LiPo battery.
The CRS can hold a 7,4V 1100 mAh battery.
And this is the battery Taiwangun recommends for both versions.
Basic parameters of the replicas:
- length (SR3 and CRS): 720/800 mm and 650/745 mm;
- weight (SR3 / CRS): 2520/2650 g;
- inner barrel length: 285 mm;
- inner diameter of the barrel: 6.03 mm;
- magazine capacity: 300 BBs;
- muzzle velocity: 340 fps.
