WOT is creating more light infantry battalions. New subunits are formed as part of existing brigades.

And here'a re the names of cities where new battalion are being created:

- Słupsk (7th Pomeranian Territorial Defense Brigade)

- Inowrocław (8 Kuyavian-Pomeranian Territorial Defense Brigade)

- Kutno (9th Łódź Territorial Defense Brigade)

- Cieszyn (13 Silesian Territorial Defense Brigade)

In addition, the creation of battalions began in Opolskie and Lubuskie voivodships, which will be temporarily subordinated to the existing Territorial Defense brigades. Ultimately, these sub-units will enter the structures of future Territorial Defense brigades. These battalions are located in:

- Skwierzyna (temporarily subordinated to the 12th Wielkopolska Territorial Defense Brigade, ultimately planned to be within the structures of the Lubuskie brigade);

- Brzeg (temporarily subordinated to the 13th Silesian Territorial Defense Brigade, ultimately planned to be in the structures of the Opole brigade).
