We received information that King Arms has started taking orders from distributors for the M1928 version of the Thompson submachine gun replicas. We have already written about plans to resume the production of this replica. Now we know a little more.
Basic technical parameters:
- overall length: 840 mm;
- inner barrel length: 315 mm;
- magazine capacity: 450 BBs;
- muzzle velocity: 380-420 fps (depending on the target market).
Metal parts are made of ZnAl. The outer barrel is made as a single part. The V6 gearbox has 9 mm bearings and is equipped with a mosfet. There is a version with solid wood stock, handguard and pistol grip available (KA-AG-258-WO) and slightly cheaper one with parts that imitate wood (KA-AG-258). Both have the proper adjustable rear sight:
At the same time, several Thompson accessories are returning to the offer. These are packs of 5 identical-looking low- (60 BBs) and mid-cap (110 BBs) magazines:
