We saw replicas of Maxim Defense designs from Vega Force Company during last year's MOA trade fair in Taiwan (Vega Force Company - A Closer Look at the New Replicas from IWA 2025) and this year's IWA 2025 trade fair (Vega Force Company New Releases for 2025). Those included the PCC models in the form of MD9 (GBB), PDX SD (AEG) and MDX 510 (AEG) replicas.
According to the RedWolf Airsoft store, the Maxim Defense MD9 GBBR replica is now available in pre-order. The new PCC replica is fed from gas-powered Glock 9mm replica magazines in the Vega Force Company standard. The entire design is quite compact, with a short M-RAX/M-SlotRapid Attachment System handguard, which is Maxim Defense's own response to the M-LOK system. Compatibility between these systems is still maintained.
The entire assembly is made of aluminum with certail elements made of steel such as the double-sided magazine release lever, the bolt catch button, the Hatebrake muzzle device and the casing ejection port cover.
The replica also features steel parts in critical areas, such as the trigger mechanism, which includes a breaker and the hammer. The bolt carrier itself is made of aluminum, along with a polymer nozzle.
The replica will be equipped with a sliding PDW/SCW stock, an aluminum base, steel guides and a sling mounting plate, as well as an aluminum guide housing a stronger spring and a heavier buffer.
The replica will be supplied with a single Glock magazine with a capacity of 50 BBs, made of aluminum.
The official release date is July 29th. The announced price is 439 USD for the MAXIM Defense MD9-K SBR GBB replica from Vega Force Company.
