UNITY, an American company main knownly for their premium optics accessories, has released a new series of magnifier mounts called FAST™ FTC. The main feature of the new mounts if the flip-to-center technology that eliminates the fli-to-side placement used in older roducts and thus elemintes any snag hazards or occlusion of the magnifiers when they are not used. Another important feature is the hoight of the optical centerline from the rail, set at 2.26”. This is to facilitate quicket target aquisition and more ergonomically correct heads-up posture, regardless if used with or without a NV device, protecive mask, plate carries of other gear.
The new line consistes of three modes - OMNI, 30MM and PA. The first one works with a variety of popular magnifiers from various manufacturers such as EOTech, Holosun, Sig Sauer, Trijicon and Vortex.
The 30MM model is ompatible with most 30mm magnifiers and can be mounted in either direction for left- or right-handed use.
The PA model was designed especially for the Primary Arms® MicroMagnifier.
All of the above mentiones products are mande from 7075-T6 Aluminum, weigh from 113.4 to 127.6 grams, and feature force-to-overcome folding mechanism, a low-profile integrated FAST™ QD Lever and Type III Hardcoat Anodized coating. Each version is available in black or FDE and all are priced at 269 USD.
