A new generation of Tippmann Omega replicas has hit the market.

Tippmann, one of the paintball market leaders that, has also been present in the airsoft segment for several years. Their products includes classic AEGs and CO2/HPA driven replicas.

The Commando and the Reconn are different series of AEG replicas differing with the prices point, with the Commando replicas being a cheaper version with receivers made of plastic, while the Reconn ones are more advanced, have a quick spring change system and factory installed mosfet. In turn, the M4 V2 series (carbine and CQB) are simple mechanical-pneumatic CO2/HPA-powered carbines, in which 12 gram CO2 capsules are housed in magazines and they can also be powered with HPA using a special adapter. Interestingly, with HPA connected, the replicas are feed using standard AEG magazines.

The Omega is a series of the most technically advanced carbines powered by CO2 capsules or a small HPA tank (13 ci) placed in a stock, controlled by a programmable electronic system.

The Omega V2 is available in 2 lengths - carbine and CQB, and each variant is available as powered from CO2 capsules placed in the stock or from a 13-inch HPA tank thank replaces the buffer tube.

According to the manufacturer's declaration the drive (electronics and the pneumatic system) is similar to the competitive tournament class solutions known from the paintball market. The muzzle velocity is adjusted by an internal regulator (max. 450-480 fps). The rate of fire is also controlled (programmed). Available settings are 10, 15 and 25 rps. In the V2 version, a new bolt carrier was used, several details were improved, and the HopUp chamber was changed to a rotary type.
