The Barnual company is known mostly for its low price ammunition of average shooting value. Meanwhile, some time ago the manufacturer has decided to satisfy a growing group of supporters, at least in the US, of the 7.62×35 mm ammunition, which is popularly called .300 Blackout and, as reported by overseas portals, it has kept its word.
The new Barnaul 300 Blackout ammunition is an FMJ bullet weighing 145 gr (9.4 g) in a steel case covered with a polymer. The bullet has a G1 ballistic coefficient equal to 0.366 and a muzzle velocity declared by the manufacturer at 1985 fps (605 m/s). The muzzle energy is 1719 J. The company recommends using dedicated .300 Blackout magazines for optimal performance.
The .300 AAC Blackout (designated as 300 BLK by SAAMI and 300 AAC Blackout by CIP), also known as the 7.62×35 mm, is an intermediate cartridge developed in the United States by the Advanced Armament Corporation (AAC) for use on the M4 carbine. Its purpose is to achieve ballistic properties similar to the 7.62×39 mm and the 7.92×33 mm Kurz cartridges in the AR-15 family rifles, using standard AR-15 magazines with normal capacity. The ammunition has gained great popularity among special forces units and many designs can be easily repurposed from using the .223 Remington cartridge to the .300 Blackout round.
Barnaul has also announced that the .300 BLK Subsonic ammunition will hit the market very soon.
The question is whether this ammunition will also appear in Poland?
