When reporting on last year's MOA in Taiwan (December 2019), we wrote about the VFC gas powered replica of the Colt 1911, shown there for the second time in a row. In recent days, the replica has finally hit the stores.
Basic technical parameters:
- overall length: 224 mm;
- inner barrel length: 112 mm;
- weight: 840 g.
Magazine capacity: 20 BBs. Muzzle velocity is about 100 m/s.
The gun is distinguished by a convenient way of adjusting the HopUp system by turning the recoil spring guide. This solution, already used by other manufacturers, makes it significantly easier to quickly adjust the HopUp, because one does not have to remove the slide after each shot.
Like all VFC products, this one is also very well made. It does not have any markings, but some people think it is an advantage, because it allows for full customization.
