Irene, f ***** g Irene - most of the 30+ generation (or maybe younger?) know this characteristic line that started one of the bloodiest battles on the modern urban battlefield. The Battle of Mogadishu, also known as the Battle of Black Sea, took place on October 3-4, 1993 and became the basis for Ridley Scott's Blackhawk Down.

Among the many plots and events of the battle, the most remembered one is the attempt to rescue the crew of the downed Blackhawk helicopter by two Delta Force snipers, Randy Shughart and Gary Gordon.

You probably know the whole story and we will not present it here. However, we will focus on the CRW Airsoft product that helps to recreate the somewhat iconic Gary Gordon rifle.

The weapon was built on the basis of the AR15 platform (specifically the Colt M723/733 - built on the basis of an M16A2 receiver) was equipped with a characteristic long silencer and it is this accessory that CRW has introduced.

The product offered by the airsoft manufacturer represents a film version of the silencer, slightly different from the original one made by the OPS company. The silencer is made of black anodized 6061 T651 aluminum. The BHD Gordon Silencer (movie version) weighs 0.7 kg and is equipped with an internal 14 mm CCW thread, the company also announced a version with a 12 mm thread.

The prices of the silencer is $ 88.
On its fan page CRW Airsoft has also informed about the imminent release of a receiver (i.e. the C7 upper and lower receiver with M16A2 markings) for the Tokyo Marui MWS GBB replicas by Angrygun.

In conjunction with the appropriate parts and the CRW Airsoft silencer, airsoft players and reenactors will be able to build a replica of Sergeant Gary Gordon's rifle.
