Replicas made by the EMG Arms (Evike Manufacturing Group), from the series licensed by the Sharps Bros firearms manufacturer, were created in cooperation with the ARES company. For this reason, their heart is a V2 gearbox, equipped with a MOSFET system by this manufacturer. Thanks to the brushless motor, the thickness of the pistol grip is as close as possible to the real firearm. Another interesting solution is the quick spring change system, enabling a smooth change of the muzzle velocity, even in field conditions. Thanks to this, its owner can change the spring within a few minutes, using dedicated tools, to adjust the muzzle velocity generated by the replica to the FPS limits / type of game played. Interesting visual designs are also present. The replicas come in versions with different lengths of barrels, with various painting schemes, as well as a lower receiver with magwell in the shape of a skull.
To change the spring, it is not necessary to pull the gearbox out of the body, which saves significant amount of time and simplifies the operation. First, one uses a dedicated key to unscrew the stock guide, then unscrew the centering screw using a flat screwdriver and remove the spring guide using an Allen wrench. The next step is to change the spring to the right one and assemble the replica, doing everything in the reverse order.
