We saw various vehicles at airsoft events. Very often, they are full functional, expensive cars equipped with combat and airsoft gear, whose owners decided to use them only during games (its their money). But such vehicles are also old ones fixed with a welder, a wire and a string, which do not street legal and are brought to games on tow trucks. Particularly many vehicles participate in the Mission Afghanistan, an airsoft game held annually in Poland. Or maybe some of you made vehicles for airsoft games? Don't hesitate to show them in the comments section!
The third group consists of vehicles built on the basis of a lawnmower, sideboard or a stool, with varied propulsion systems, armor and armament.
By the way: who knows if the makes of those INVENTIONS aren't enjoying themselves the most?
Sometimes such "creations" are shunned by some of the participants, and even the organizer feel the need to assess and accept the "realism" of such vehicles (e.g. Border War game and thee Blackwater group problem with their buggy). Are those airsoft vehicles so different from improvised vehicles used in real conflicts? Photographic reports from contemporary asymmetrical armed conflicts show that the need is still the mother of invention, and that human ingenuity knows no boundaries. When you think for a moment why and for what purpose such contraptions are made and used, it stops to be funny. Below are some examples.
Some, despite a vague steampunk look, use quite advanced technology.
And in your opinion, are vehicles applicable in an airsoft game or are they only a background for the transported team? Or do they add additional flavour to games? Nowadays, there are more and more regular offroad vehicles adapted for airsoft purposes as well as clever inventions. We are curious about your opinion. Do vehicles make a game more attractive or do they bother you?
