Cybergun is known for acquiring and enforcing licenses on the airsoft market. In France, a ruling was made in a trial in which Cybergun accused Europ'Arm and BO Manufacture of breaching a license granted to it by Glock. The Rennes court ruled that both companies were guilty and sentenced each of them for a total fine of 60,000 Euros. In addition, the court obliged both companies to destroy the stocks of products questioned by Cybergun.
CYBERGUN Vice President and CEO Hugo BRUGIÈRE, in the press release issued, is pleased with the ruling and suggests further enforcement of the company's rights. Europ'Arm and BO Manufacture didn't comment the judicial resolution of the dispute.
Let us remind you that on the market we are interested in,the Glock licences are currently owned by only two companies: Umarex on the global consumer market (except France) and Cybergun on the MIL/LE segment and on the civilian market in France and dependent territories.
The market MIL/LE is supplied, on behalf of Cyberguna, by its subsidiary: Spartan M&LE.
We wrote about it recently in the context of the SIG airsoft guns for the US Coast Guard (USCG). Of course, Cybergun also owns this license.
