In mid-November, the qualifying tests of the PR-15 Ragun pistol by Fabryi Broni "Łucznik" - Radom were completed. Thus, the gun was approved for use in the Polish Armed Forces. Yesterday a contract was signed, under which FB "Łucznik" will deliver 20,000 PR-15 Ragun pistols, which in the military nomenclature was given the name VIS 100, referring to the 100th anniversary of regaining Polish independence. The first copies of VIS 100 will be issued to soldiers of the Territorial Defense Forces .

The VIS 100 is a semi-automatic pistol, powered by the 9x19 mm round. It is a weapon with a moving barrel and a locking slide, acting on the principle of a short recoil of the barrel, interlocked in the slide's ejection port through barrel tilting. The pistol has an ergonomic grip with a Picatinny rail under the barrel that meets the MIL Std 1913 - designed for attaching a laser sight or a tactical flashlight. The gun is designed to be operated by right and left-hand shooters. It is characterized by low mass, small dimensions, good firing control, ease of use and a high degree of safety. It has protection against accidental and premature firing and a single-double action trigger mechanism (SA / DA).



The VIS 100 has, obviously, little in common with the VIS wz. 35 except for the name.
