A few years ago Real Sword entered the market with a bang and, after a short time, it almost disappear from it. But since the beginning of April, the Facebook profile of the Real Sword company seems to be alive once more. First, individual parts of replicas were shown. Than, complete gearboxes appeared.

T2 Version (AK carbines replicas):

And T3 (SWD) version with an M130 spring and in a reinforced version with an M170 spring:

Today, a photo of the Type 56-1 rifle replica appeared with an IN STOCK note! Does this mean that Real Sword is coming back to the market?

AK carbines produced by Real Sword are unquestionably the most faithfully made AKs replicas. To accommodate a V3 gearbox, all other replicas have a slightly extended receiver and safety selector switch's axis is also slightly offset. Real Sword replicas, instead of the standard V3 gearbox, use dedicated T2 gearboxes with a slightly changed shape. Thanks to this, Real Sword made replicas with dimensions 100% compatible with the real weapon. What's more, the company claims that, apart from the parts of the replica's mechanism, the materials used in their replicas are the same is in a real rifle. All external metal parts (including the barrel) are made of steel, and the front top and bottom handguard come straight from a real rifle. The surface of the steel parts is oxidized and phosphatated, thanks to which it is impossible to say that we are dealing with a replica without looking into the magazine well or attempting to reload.

Basic parameters:
Overall length (folded/unfolded stock: 645/874 mm;
weight: 3.4 kg;
magazine capacity: 150 BBs;
recommended battery: stick;
muzzle velocity: 296/395 fps (optional).

According to unofficial information that we managed to acquire, Real Sword may be the first but not the last Chinese company returning to the airsoft market. Is this another attempt made by Mainland China to compete with Taiwanese manufacturers?

The price has not yet been provided. A few years ago, when the Real Sword was doing well, the RS Type 56-1 costed 408 USD.

The Type 56 rifle family consists of several versions. The original one is the Type 56 with a fixed wooden buttstock and a bayonet mounted under the barrel (also produced once by RS)

The second is the Type 56-1 described above, with a buttstock folded under the receiver (as in the AKS/AKMS). The third version is the Type 56-2 with a characteristic buttstock folded to the right side, different from the Soviet/Russian versions, in which the buttstocks are folded to the left, as in the AKS-74/74M or even recently described AK-12.
