In autumn of last year, we wrote about slim motors and dedicated grips for AK replicas. Then LCT showed only a black grip and in the comments on Facebook there were questions about other color versions. Today, information was posted about "completing" the offer with the brown version (called dark red) and bakelite version just being released.

The grips are only available in sets with motors with increased torque. Trade names of individual sets are visible in the photos below. It is worth noting that in the meantime (since November last year) the announced about high-speed motors has disappeared. Currently, only the torque motors are on offer. Its parameters (according to the manufacturer): 26500 revolutions per minute (using a 8.4 V battery) and torque is 300 expressed in Gcm (gramocentimeters?, derivatives of kilogramometers kGm?). For comparison, the T2 accessory motor from the LCT's offer also marked as "torque" has 27,500 revolutions per minute and has a torque of 325 Gcm.

For those who decide to buy a slim motor, the size of the grip and the motor will be a much more important feature. Below is a comparison of a standard grip of an AK replica with a slim grip and a comparison of the motors themselves. Of course, the standard parts are always on the left:

The current price of a set with a black grip in Asian online stores is about 70 USD, plus shipping and other fees. We were unable to determine the prices of the brown and bakelite versions.

LCT emphasizes that the grips WILL NOT FIT the VAL/Wintorez/SR-3/SR-3M and the new LCK-12/LCK-15 (AK-12/AK-15) replicas. There is also no confirmation of compatibility with AK replicas made by other manufacturers.
