On the 24th of May, the Kalashnikov Concern provided information about the acceptance of RPK-16 by Rosgvardia. The information has circulated around the world and can still be found on the Internet, although the subpage with the message's content disappeared from the Kalashnikov Media site (error 404).
RPK-16, caliber 5.45x39 mm can be used as a light machine gun and as an assault rifle. It has a telescopic stock folded to the left side, a long Picatinny rail and the ability to quickly change the barrel, which is available in two lengths. Below is a film presenting the RPK-16:
We mention this because today we also reported about the work done by Arcturus on its AK-12 replica. And while in the original AK-12 and RPK-16 are not exactly the same (if only because of the reinforced receiver of the latter), in the world of replicas it is relatively easy to make a more or less precise "conversion". And the Chinese MOS company, owner of the Arcturus brand, seems to be quite active lately.
And finally, because despite the ever changing weather, the motorcycle season is already opened wherefore we present a short film about a completely different prototype from Izhevsk, also published by the Kalashnikov Concern.
For those who understand: Left hand up!
Sorry, I do not know how do batmen greet.
