New replicas from the Phantom Extremis series appeared at Taiwangun, bearing the common name "eSilver Egde". Since Phantoms have been available for a long time, they differ mainly in the use of an electronic control system with a microswitch and a built-in MOSFET (no traditional contact switch). This change also forced a change in the shape of the gearbox frame. Its manufacturing technology and the selection of internal parts remain unchanged compared to earlier versions called Silver Edge. To distinguish the version controlled by electronics, the letter "e" was used. Hence the new series is called the eSilver Edge.
The first batch of eSilver Edge replicas consists of three MK7, Mk8 and Mk9 replicas, differing in the length of the barrel, the front, and in the case of the shortest version, also the buttstock. We are currently testing the medium length model - the Mk9. Full review is coming soon.
By the way, it is quite important to mention that now there is also a replica of Phantom Extremis Mk7 (the shortest one) available in the Silver Edge series (with a regular contacts switch). When deciding to buy one read the description of the ordered replica carefully.
