The Glock company is dynamically developing its line of Gen5 pistols, forcing manufacturers of all sorts of accessories to keep up with them. One of such companies is Lasermax, a manufacturer of laser sights which are mounted in the pistons of the return springs of guns.
This type of sight eliminates the need to use dedicated holsters or to make changes to a weapon to take full advantage of the laser sight. Below is the short description of Lasermax products:
- user-programmable beam mode (continuous, pulses)
- the design does not restrict grip or holster selection
- a distinct ambidextrous ON/OFF switch reinforces safe firearm handling
- automatic shutdown after 10 minutes prevents accidental discharging of the battery
- the distance of the sight from the barrel of the weapon provides excellent precision of the shots/target intication
- guaranteed alignment ensures center of mass shots
At the moment, Lasermax offers only 2 different sizes of sights compatible with 9mm gun frames, but in fact, they can be used with most Gen 5 models. The size adapted to the G19 model includes 4 different guns, while the G17 model size includes 3 Glock models . The sights are offered in versions with a red or a green coloured beam. Lasermax products are covered by a 5-year warranty.
