A new version of the Hop-Up chamber, designed for the VSR-10 spring powered rifles by the Japanese company Lambda Airsoft is gradually appearing in online stores. The chamber is dedicated to work with AEG type barrels and bucking. The innovation introduced in this version of the chamber is the change of the Hop-Up adjustment method. The new chamber uses the VSR-10 factory installed adjustment lever. Other/earlier versions of the accessory chambers, which were dedicated for AEG type barrels used a key adjustment method done through the magazine well. A return to the original concept significantly eases this process.
With headquarters in Osaka, Japan, Lambda Airsoft was founded by a former PDI employee. In addition to parts for the VSR-10, the company also produces precision inner barrels. If one is to believe the information published by Lambda, the quality and precision of manufacturing are at the highest level and they are in no way inferior to the well known PDI barrels. The flagship product is the Lambda One series - barrels with an inner diameter of 6.01 mm, made of SUS304 stainless steel by cold forging with a tolerance of 1 micron. In a similar process (forging), barrels for firearms are also produced. In addition to the One series, the Five series (with an internal diameter of 6.05 mm), the Eight series (diameter 6.08 mm), the Evo series and the "budget" Smart line with three diameters: 6.03, 6.08 and 6.12 mm are also available. The full range of the barrels by this manufacturer can be found here: LINK.
In Poland, the distributor of Lambda Airsoft products is the JAR-MIX Militaria store. Currently, the store's offer includes only precision barrels. The prices vary depending on the model (series) and length. The Smarty AEG barrels cost about 160 PLN. The One (AEG) barrel with a length of 363 mm (M4) - about 350 PLN. The longest Lambda One (AEG) barrel with a length of 595 mm costs nearly 500 PLN. The shop also has Lambda products made in the VSR standard.
