Not so long ago we wrote about new products in Strike Industres' offer, which are available in Polish stores. Meanwhile, the company does not slow down and during the recent TriggrCon 2019 trade expo, presented interesting and, what seem to be, innovative accessories for the most popular shooting platforms, the AR and the Glock.
The first product is a front for the AR series called Gridlok. It is offered in four lengths: 8, 5, 11, 15 and 17 inches and many color versions.
A characteristic feature of the product is the option of quick assembly and disassembly (QD) using one lever and two small screws. The front is milled in 6061 aluminum, alloy and the dedicated barrel nut is made from anodized 7250 aluminum alloy.
The bed is compatible with low gas blocks, including the new adjustable block by Strike Industries called Collar Adjustable Gas Block.
An interesting fact (which you can see it in the video below) is that the front can also be used with standard gas blocks/front sights ( the so-called A2 front sight) known from the M16 series, by removing one segment from the front.
The prices range between 199.95 and 269.95 USD. The new SI gas block is 99.95 USD.
The offer of AR accessories is supplemented by an 18-inch barrel chambered for firing the .223 Wylde round.
The barrels are cold-forged from 416 RS steel, have 1:8 inch rifling and are covered with a special QPQ Nitride coating facilitating their long use.
The cost of the barrel is 279.95 USD.
The offer of new accessories for Glock pistols opens with the new ARK barrels for Glock 17 and 19 with a rather interesting "spiral" profile.
According to the manufacturer's statement, the barrel's profile provides weight reduction while maintaining high precision of shot and durability. The barrels are made of 416R stainless steel and have a 6 rifling groves with a ratio of 1:10 inches and a precisely made crown.
The barrels are compatible with 3rd to 5th generation of Glocks. The price of the new ARK barrel for Glock pistols is 179.95 USD.
Another interesting accessory for the Glock series is the new series of compensators.
This next generation, just like the first one, does not require a barrel with an external thread, using the pistol's return spring guide for mounting. The new compensators are expected to appear in stores around October and the price is to be set at around 80 USD.
