The second generation of Elite Force H8R revolvers has just hit the stores.
As before, the revolver is fed from a flat drum inserted into its proper place from the left. The characteristic magazine holds 10 BBs, each placed in a separate slot. The set comes with 5 magazines.
The revolver and magazines are still made of plastic. Standard CO2 capsules, powering the revolver, are placed in the grip. The muzzle velocity ranges from 305 to 325 fps.
The most important difference is the use of an adjustable HopUp system in the 2nd generation replicas (the first one has a fixed HopUp). Other differences visible to the naked eye are fluorescent sights and the gray color of the trigger and the hammer.
The revolver fires in SA/DA modes - i.e. with or without pulling back the hammer. The safety is located under the hammer in the upper part of the grip.
When deciding to buy one, be sure to read the description carefully. In many stores there are currently two versions available, with a fixed and adjustable HopUp system, and prices are almost the same. For example, at Evike they cost (gen.1/gen.2) respectively 64.95 and 69.95 USD.
