What was the deal with brown and black boots, you can check on the Internet for yourself. The fact is that now brown boots are returning service. Boots wz.939/MON have been issued to soldiers for some time now as one can unfortunately see by browsing various online auction portals. Also, on Polish streets you can already meet soldiers wearing new wz.124P or 124L uniforms and brown summer boots.
The boots have a mixed design. Main parts of the shaft and the shank are made of full grain leather, and the fillings are made of textile material. The interior of the shoes is lined with a membrane. Attention is drawn to the small ventilation holes visible in the photo above and an additional layer of material that protects the toe from damage. The lacing system consists of 9 pairs of classic eyelets without any improvements.
The tongue is extended with the intention of pulling it out. The ankles are protected by inserts covered with leather. On the back of the upper, at the height of the Achilles tendon, an elastic element is placed to facilitate its bending.
The sole has a moderately aggressive tread. Between the front part and the heel there is a clear place for running the rope during descents.

We did not have an opportunity to try them on and walk in them, but they still made a good impression on us. The light weight is noteworthy. The boots are produced according to the so-called French size system, therefore sizes are 41, 42, 43 etc.
According to the solutions adopted in the army, many companies can apply for delivery contracts. The design and specification are the property of the Ministry of National Defense. It is therefore certain that in some time identical boots will be produced by various factories.

Adds appearing on the second hand market price the wz.939 boots in the range of 150-250 PLN. We haven't found them in online stores yet. We found somewhat similar boots called "boots - version 2/MON" in the Sortmund.pl store for 480 PLN. But bare in mind - these are not the same boots:
