It would seem that the H&K company position as the sole supplier of weapoans for the Polish uniformed services is undisputed. It is known that units such as JW GROM, JWK or AT Police departments use carbines, submachine guns and postols of the German manufacturer.
It turns out that this situation may change soon. We got information about the tender for small arms for the Police, in which the Cenzin company offering the MSW HK417A2 rifles, HK416A5 rifles and MP5K PDW, MP5A5 and MP5SD6 submachine guns has been defeated by the UMO company which was offered a contract for to supply weapons of the Haenel brand.
In the tender for the supply of 546 H&K HK416A5 rifles (or equivalent models), the most advantageous offer that met all requirements, offered for the Haenel MK556 rifles. The UMO company from Zielonka offered to sell the Haenel MK556 rifles for 6,297,405.66 PLN (11,533.71 PLN per set). The offer was just a bit more competitive than the one presented by the Censin company, which offered H&K HK416A5 carbines at 6 318 896.22 PLN (PLN 11 573.07 PLN per set). In both cases, the manufacturers offered a 48-month warranty on the weapons. The difference in the value of the contracts was only 21,490.56 PLN (39.36 PLN on one set).
