Great news for enthusiasts of classic replicas! ICS has decided to refresh its line of MP5 submachine guns a bit. Yesterday, there an announcement was made about 2 new replicas. I am talking about the CES-P MS1 S3 with an SFS stock and the CES-P A5 S3 with a classic telescopic stock.
The replicas are worth mentioning for several reasons. Firstly, the receivers are made of pressed steel. Secondly, they are powered by a two-part V2 gearbox with quick spring change system. Thirdly, the mechanism is managed by the latest electronic system SSS V2 E-Trigger System with programmable fire modes, pre-cocking and extensive diagnostics.
Other features include:
- a short travel trigger;
- a spring tension release;
- a metal HopUp chamber;
- a charging handle used to open the dummy bolt (during HU adjustment).
In our opinion, all this looks more than promising.
Replica weight: 2600/2800 g (telescopic stock/SFS stock).
Muzzle velocity: about 400 fps.

It is worth emphasizing that both replicas will be the only MP5s available with steel receivers. The SRC company has given up the production of such replica models long ago. However, when deciding to buy one, you need to pay attention to the ordered model as only these 2 replicas are made of steel. The other models in the ICS offer are still ZnAl castings.
