In the airsoft world, the fashion for AR family replicas resembling sub-rifles chambered for pistol ammunition is growing. There are products of many manufacturers on the market, including those made by those considered the best, such as ICS or G&G. And the latter company decided to show off its a new idea - a limited series of ARP 9 replicas with gold-colored additions.
The ARP 9 is not a new replica. Last year it was awarded the title of the "Best AEG of the year 2018" in a plebiscite held by the PopularAirsoft portal. Yet, Gold version is a new addition to the series and is limited to 1000 copies.
People who don't like gold can also choose something for themselves. ARPs with silver, orange, red, green and blue parts are already on offer. There is even a uniform dark gray color version.
Replicas can be feed from magazines with a classic design with a capacity of 30 BBs (short) and 60 BBs (long) or from hi-cap magazines holding 300 BBs. In addition, the offer also includes a manually wound drum holding 1500 BBs and a transparent low-cap with visible dummy rounds.
It is worth remembering that due to the electronic control system (ETU) used in the ARP 9 replicas, the manufacturer recommends using batteries with a C value not higher than 30. In our opinion, this means that powering the replica with a high-efficiency battery (e.g. for RC models) with a capacities above 1800-2000mAh can damage the electronics.
