After the interesting Army Armament R501 and R601 models, in recent days several more interesting pistols appeared at Taiwangun. The first is the F17 by Asia Electric Gun. The pistol is modeled after the Sig Saucer M17 and because of that it had much news coverage. This happened at the time when Sig Sauer showed the first copies of its pistol replica (made by VFC), and the F17 also appeared in several stores with the AEG and/or EC brand.
Of course, the gun has no markings, but the degree of replication of the original is high. For comparison, the original Sig Sauer M17 GBB (VFC), which we are currently testing:
At first glance, the pistols are very similar. The most visible difference in handling is the HopUp adjustment method. In the Sig Saucer, the system is adjusted by turning the return spring rod (without removing the slide). The F17 has a classic design with a knob on the HU chamber.
The muzzle velocity of the F17 gun is 320 fps. Magazine capacity - 21 BBs.
The second interesting pistol is the Makarow BLE-PM2 ICS. It is a metal replica with a fixed slide (GNB) powered by CO2.
It is sold in a set with a silencer and a metal adapter (pictured above) for silencer installation.
The gun is factory fitted with a flat plastic barrel tip. To replace it, unscrew 1 screw and slide the end of the barrel off.
The most interesting thing about the Makarov is the design of the silencer, which in principle is the same as in solutions found in firearms. Polymer washers divide the space inside the silencer into separate damping chambers. It works very well, comparable to commonly used silencer with damping made from a sponge, but it looks much better.
The HopUp is adjusted from above with an attached Allen key. The CO2 capsule is hidden in the grip and is inserted by taking of the grip panels.
Muzzle velocity of the BLE-PM2 gun is 300 fps, magazine capacity - 13 BBs.
The last of the recently introduced novelties is the dual-system (Green Gas and CO2) Baba Yaga SRC pistol. This is another replica of John Wick's weapon from the third part of the series. In Taiwangun alone you can also buy the licensed Taran Tactical R601 by Army Armament, and there are also licensed EMG replicas available online.
The gun is sold in a polymer case with a Green Gas magazine that holding 28 BBs.
Visually, the replica looks good, although we liked the comparable R601 Army much more. Muzzle velocity of both guns (Green Gas) is 320fps.
