In addition to a short post on FB, the subject of AKs by Specna Arms died down somewhat. But we have just received fresh information and photos. First of all, the production of many different models is underway, which is confirmed by the photos below.

Secondly, at the start of the J series, classic versions with wooden parts, more modern ones, with polymer handguards and stocks, and the most modern "tactical" ones, with M-LOK system handguards and AR-15 stocks will be available.

Thirdly, the replicas will be largely made of steel. Parts made of steel will consist of steel receivers and covers, gas tubes and flash hiders, but also - what pleases us most - external barrels.

Lastly, the heart of the replica will be a V3 gearbox with a quick spring change (Enter & Convert system) prepared according to the already known ORION specification:

Unfortunately, the J replicas will not have the X-ASR GATE mosfet used in the EDGE series.

Specna has not yet published the list of models making up the J series - it is to be published on the day of the premiere which has not been given yet. IWA 2020 seems to be a good date, which will take place from March 6-9 in Nuremberg.
