At the beginning of this month we wrote about the upcoming release of a new licensed replica of the TTI Combat Master pistol prepared by Army Armament and Taiwangun. Yesterday we had an opportunity to see the gun and take some photos. Of course, we know that their quality is not outstanding but you have to take into account that they were made using a smartphone. Perhaps we will have an opportunity to get the hold of the gun for longer and take more photos, but this time in a studio.
The replica is modeled after the STI Combat Master(STI International) pistol, that underwent further improvements at Taran Tactical Innovations and is available as the JW3 STI Combat Master, i.e. John Wick's weapon from the third movie "John Wick: Chapter 3 - Parabellum".

A few details:
According to information from the manufacturer, the markings were applied under a purchased license. This makes it the second officially licensed replica of the TTI gun. The other one is made by EMG/AW Custom, which we also covered in one of your news reports. As we have learned, they are completely separate products and not a result of marketing shenanigans.
As expected, the gun fits perfectly in one's hands, and the texture of the grip panels makes the it extremely reliable. The slide moves dynamically and, most importantly, has not play when shaking the gun. The strength of the return spring is also worth mentioning. After pulling back the slide we had the impression that the movement of the slide forward is clearly faster than in most replicas.
The copy we saw came from a small batch delivered by air freight, which was immediately sold 499 PLN a piece. The main delivery of the R601s is on its way. It is expected to arrive in the second half of September, but at such an attractive price it will probably also sell quickly.
Below this news article are links to the previous information about other replicas of the Baby Jaga pistol - the EMG/AW Custom and the SRC version that has not markings.
For fans of the JW series, we have another photo.
More details will be available soon.
