Silverback has announced a new generation of SRS replicas designated as the A2. The replicas from the A1 line produced so far will no longer be available. Covert versions with a 16" barrel will be the first to hit the market at the beginning of May

and the 22" long version

Then the 16" Sport version will appear

All three will be available in 3 colors (OD, DE and black) each and in versions for right- and left-handed shooters.

The most important changes compared to the A1 version:
- weight reduction by around 25%;
- M-LOK handguards;
- a steel socket for attaching a tripod in front of the stock;
- a redesigned trigger mechanism;
- a new barrel clamp.

Mechanically, the replicas are backwards compatible. However, the previous external parts are not fully compatible. The A1 stocks do not fit with the M-LOK A2 handguards and A1 handguards do not fit with A2 stocks.
