In the airsoft world an information has circulated recently about the arrest of a famous American youtuber and airsoft player, Gregory Wong, known under the nickname Spartan117gw during the rioting in the United States caused by the death of George Floyd.
According to media reports, on June 2 using a Uber vehicle Wong got to downtown Los Angeles, where, armed with a rifle and wearing a uniform and equipment from the US National Guard, he tried to join their ranks. Real soldiers, after noticing the presence of a person outside their formation, alerted the LA police who arrested Wong, accusing him of, among other things, the illegal possession and manufacture of weapons. The police found a rifle without serial numbers next to the arrested YouTube, which they call a "ghost gun".
George Wong, apart from his career on YouTube, also dealt with playing computer games professionally and was a US ARMY paratrooper in the past. The media report that Wong has already left on bail and is awaiting for official charges. Wong has not commented on the whole matter so far.
