Sig Sauer has announced the introduction of the MCX Virtus PCP semi-automatic air rifle.
The rifle is equipped with a 30-round magazine and a 17.5-inch barrel with an M-LOK™ handguard for easy installation of accessories. The Virtus is powered by an adjustable, high-pressure tank with a capacity of 13 cubic inches (213 cm3) located in the stock. The maximum pressure is 3000 psi, and the adjustable output has a maximum setting of 1100 psi which ensures repeatability of shots. One filling of the tank lasts for 150 shots.
The MCX Virtus PCP .22 caliber air gun propels projectiles up to 700 fps (213 m/s) at 11 ft-lbs (14.9 J) projectile energy.
