In August 2023, a five-barrel minigun from Well is to have its release. It's exact name is WE23-S. The replica is made in the Gatling system and, as in the original, one shot is fired from each barrel during rotation. This allows the replica with a 11.1V LiPo battery to achieve a rate of fire of 40 BBs per second.
This model is a variation on the American M134 minigun. However, the replica is smaller and lighter. The light weight was achieved by creating a housing and magazine made of durable nylon and aluminum barrels with a length of 226 mm. The gun is equipped with a transport handle with a Picatinny rail for optics and an M-LOK handguard for attaching a flashlight, a laser or a bipod. Additionally, there are QD sling swivel mounting points at the front and back of the handle make it easier to carry the replica and a socket for a control cable (not included). The electric driven mechanism is hidden in a metal frame of the gearbox housing a piston system and steel gears. The replica has five AEG standard inner barrels and buckings which are adjustable through the hop-up system.
The set also includes a magazine that can hold 1200 BBs. The replica has a muzzle velocity of 290 FPS which translates to 0.78 joules of muzzle energy.
