Ruger Mini 14 replicas have become increasingly popular among various manufacturers. Alongside the gas-powered model presented by Umarex in cooperation with Vega Force Company, Double Bell has also introduced its own electric-powered version. During the IWA trade show, we had the opportunity to take a closer look at the already discussed Mini 14 replica (Umarex at IWA 2026 – Ruger Mini 14, HK G95, HK P7M13 and more).

As previously established, the replica is available in several variants differing in barrel length and minor external details. The entire assembly is housed in a polymer stock designed to imitate wood. Inside, users will find a hop-up chamber with the adjustment located beneath part of the stock assembly. There is no traditional fire selector, however, thanks to the implementation of an ETU system, it is possible to program various trigger functions, such as a two-stage trigger similar to those found in AUG replicas, where fully pulling the trigger activates full-auto fire.

One feature that particularly stands out and could significantly contribute to the replica's popularity is the use of standard AR-15 magazines designed for AEG replicas, eliminating the need to purchase proprietary magazines. However, there is no magazine release button similar to the one found on an AR-15. Instead, the system relies on a more discreet locking lever that releases when a certain amount of force is applied.
