A constant part of the heated debate about which platform is better, the AR-15 or the AK is the ergonomics and "modernity" of the design, the lack of which is attributed to the AK carbines. The Kalashnikov Concern has designed a special upgrade kit, which aims to make the design ready for the battlefield requirements of the XXI century. The kit includes the following parts:
- side folded, adjustable butt stock
- RIS rails for the front of the carbine as well as the receiver cover
- ergonomic fire selector lever
- new muzzle device
Currently we do not know the price nor the release date of the kit to the civilian market - the current priority is the military market.
