The K5 Plater Carrier project, as stated by the manufacturer, is the result of cooperation between American and Israeli special forces.
A noteworthy solution is the adaptation of the rear part of the vest to work with AMAP II backpack and the upcoming AMAP 30L.
The layout of the tapes in the "V" shape allows for a more even layout of the weight of the ballistic plating and equipment carried in pouches. There is also a flexible cummerbund.
The vest can be bought for 240 USD. It is available in 3 colours: Multicam, black and Coyote Brown.
