Some time ago, in the world of firearms AR family carbines with skeletal receivers emerged, e.i. having numerous cutouts which were intended to reduce the overall weight of the gun. As with most such inventions, they had to find its way into airsoft as well (i.g. in AEGs by APS). GHK went a step further and created gas powered replica with a skeletal receiver.
The upper and lower receiver of the replica is made of aluminium. The carbine has a muzzle velocity of 362-395 fps and has z magazine holding 40 BBs. One dose of gas in the magazine (as the manufacturers states) one can shoot 3 full magazines using single fire and 1,5 magazine using ful-auto mode. The bolt frame is made from steel, which will increase the longevity of the mechanism. The replica also has a 6.03 mm precision barrel mounted. The price of the GHK M4 is 535 USD.
