After the Mk46 Mod.0 Tokyo Marui has announced another iconic rifle of the American special forces, the Mk 18 mod1. This carbine is a further modification of the classic Mk 18 mod.0 carbine used, among others, by the Navy SEALs or the US Army Special Forces. The parts that distinguish the new version from the previous one include a free-floating barrel, a low gas block and characteristic RIS FBS rails by Daniel Defense.
The new TM product is to be equipped with the Next Generation Recoil Shock System, patented by the company, which in a realistic way reflects the workings of a firearm, meaning that the recoil and locking the bolt in the rear position after the last BB is fired.
The replica was also equipped with folding, "iron" sights, an external barrel ending with a 14mm thread with a 4-prong muzzle break and two points for mounting a carrying sling - on the RIS rail and the so-called rear plate.
The rails themselves are an excellent replica of the Daniel Defense rails and are approved by this company. The manufacturer also claims that he managed to perfectly represent the different colors of individual parts of the weapon, differing in the type of coating and FDE shades. The replica is feed from an 82 BB magazine. The magazine is not compatible with older generations' TM replicas (the "old TM standard").
