Quite recently Airsoft Mike was excited about the new PK replica. Now he got a replica of HK P8A1 pistol by Umarex.
The pistol available, among other places, at the the Switairsoft store, is referred to as the "Asian version". I have no idea what that means, but I suspect that it's connected with the license :).
The P8A1 pistol is a modified version of the P8 pistol used by the Bundeswehr for many years, which in turn is a military variant of the civilian (German market) USP pistol. As you will see in a moment that the differences between the P8 and the P8A1 have been recreated very carefully in the replica.
Basic parameters of the replica:
- length: 195 mm;
- weight: 815 g;
- magazine capacity: 23 balls;
- muzzle velocity: around 320 fps (using 0.2 g BBs).
The real manufacturer of the replica is VFC, although Mr. Vega's company does not mention it on its website. The version available at Switairsoft is additionally equipped with a TNT S + precision barrel and the TNT HopUp bucking.
Price: 164 USD plus shipping and other fees.
