The www.militarytimes.com portal reports about a new contract (H92403-19-D-0003) that USSOCOM signed with Gentex to deliver OPS CORE ballistic helmets that are well-known among servicemen and in the milsim/airsoft community.
The contract amounts to a maximum of 95 million USD for the delivery of an unspecified number of helmets, probably the OPS CORE FAST SF Super High Cut Helmet.
Deliveries are to end in 2024. It is worth mentioning that OPS CORE (Gentex) products are the golded standard among servicemen. These helmets are used by CAG operators, NAVY SEALs, MARSOC and our native units JW GROM and JWK.
