The OPS CORE (Gentex Corporation) company has presented an offer for users of ACH, USMC MICH Type II, Gentex Low Cut Tactical Ballistic Helmet and similar types of helmets who, for various reasons, can not mount night vision or ARC rails on them.
The Ops-Core Mission Configurable Helmet Cover has "built-in" ARC rails with bungee for mounting night vision devices, OpS-Core Skeleton One-Hole Shroud night vision mounting and numerous velcro panels for patches or other accessories.
The cover is mounted on the helmet similarly to the standard covers using velcro panels, while the NVG mounting is attached with a single screw - in a place that usually has a hole drilled by the manufacturer of a given helmet.
