TLR-VIR® II is a lightweight, compact, tactical light mounted on MIL-STD-1913 rails. The new flashlight uses a high-intensity white LED, an integrated IR illuminator and an Eye Safe infrared laser class 1 with full vertical and horizontal adjustment.
The new flashlight, which is powered by a CR123A lithium battery, uses the latest LED technology, providing 5000 candela, 300 lumens of light intensity and 1.5 hours of working time. As an infrared illumination the TLR-VIR II uses a 850 nanometer wavelength LED emitter with an intensity of 600 mW/sr, providing optimal lighting when using night vision equipment. The flashlight's working time in this mode is 12 hours.
The TLR-VIR II has a double-sided temporary/permanent switch. Like all TLR models, the new flashlight has a rail clamp that can be easily attached and tightened with one hand, without the use of tools.
The TLR-VIR II is made of aircraft-grade aluminum, anodized in Coyote or black, with parts made of black, chemically resistant polymer.
The compact flashlight weighs only 108 grams, it is 8.38 cm long and 3.55 cm in diameter. It uses an impact and high-temperature resistant Borofloat glass lens. The TLR-VIR II model has been tested under real-life conditions, has an IPX7 protection class, which means it is waterproof up to 1 meter for 30 minutes.
The flashlights are available in Coyote or black.
