The mechanism's components

The opened SDU 2.0. The microswitch and the custom trigger working with it are clearly visible. The eSilver Edge has no cut-off lever. In single fire mode, the Hall sensor tracks the rotation of the sector gear (the magnet on the gear) and disconnects the power supply after each full revolution. Resetting the mechanism and firing the next shot is done by releasing and pressing the trigger again. In the full-auto mode the sensor does not work.

On the photo below, the selector plate has been removed and turned over. The yellow arrow is another Hall sensor, the red arrow shows the magnet embedded in the plate. The plate's movement and magnet passing over the sensor switches between the SEMI and AUTO modes. External wiring channels are also visible. Thanks to this solution, the gear on the motor shaft has no chance of damaging the insulation of the wires, which sometimes happens in the traditional design (photos show the Phantom Mk9 mechanism, but in the Noveske it looks and works in the exact same way).


The issue of securing the replica was solved differently. The arrow indicates a separate lever moved by the selector plate. With the lever in the extreme left position (as in the photo) the trigger is immobilized and the replica is secured.

The sintered steel gears and the anti-return latch are standard for APS replicas equipped with "electronics".

The piston has a flat directional plastic head and all steel teeth.

The cylinder head is made of plastic.

The aluminum nozzle is 21.28 mm long.

It has an internal sealing O-ring.

The spring guide has a ball bearing and four latches fixing its position in the gearbox.

A standard long type motor without any markings. Turning the gear with your fingers is easy. APS describes it as high torque.

A standard Hop-Up chamber of a traditional shape. The lens axis is slightly shifted relative to the barrel axis. The bucking was mounted and worked properly.


An 6.03 mm inner barrel made of chrome-molybdenum steel. The exiting end is crowned. The two groves visible can be used to mount O-rings stabilizing the inner barrel inside the outer barrel.

Small external parts

The double-sided magazine release is tightened with a Phillips screw.

The bolt catch is mounted on an axle with a flat screwdriver socket.
