Airsoft players probably know the conversion kits by FLUX Defense for the GLOCK pistols.
This time the company decided to take the latest US Army service weapon, i.e. the SIG Sauer M17 pistol and make a conversion kit for it.
The FLUX MP17 conversion kit is available in a version with a collapsible stock (it is required to register sich a gun in the US as the so-called SBR - short-barrel carbine),
and so-called Brace (a stock-like design, according to US law - this is not a stock and weapons do not need to be registered as SBRs). The conversion kit works by taking the slide and barrel from the weapon and installing them in the new frame with a trigger.
MP17 Flux works with Sig M17/18, Sig P320 Full size, X-Five full size and Tacops Full Size models. An additional magazine compartment mounted under the barrel of the weapon can be used as an additional grip when firing. The shooter has a maximum of 43 rounds available at one time in two magazines.
The FLUX MP17 is equipped with the option of mounting electro-optical sights such as RMR, Holosun, Deltapoint, etc. Larger Aimpoint and EOTech sights can be mounted using an additional picatinny rail. The manufacturer also equipped the conversion kit with a QD socket for a tactical carrying sling.
As with conversions jit for Glock pistols, the MP17 can be holstered in the optional MP17 Duty Holster, made in the level 2 safety standard.
The conversion kit is compatible with Streamlight, Surefire and Inforce tactical flashlights. The dedicated holster also gives the possibility of using a silencer.
Prices for the conversion kit start at 399.00 USD and the holster costs an additional 199.00 USD. The manufacturer does not sell MP17 conversions outside the USA.
